Topic Summary: With advances in technology, a dependency on location based analytics, and the need to integrate with other systems, GIS has evolved from more than just siloed data editing in organizations. GIS Professionals are now working across entire organizations and implementing modern Enterprise GIS programs. During this presentation, we will explore how local governments are taking advantage of their existing resources to move beyond traditional GIS services and expand the use of GIS across multiple departments.
Speaker Bio: Wendy Peloquin, GISP is a Business Development Manager at GISinc supporting State and Local Governments and is based out of Jacksonville, FL. She earned her B.S. in Geography and a Certificate in Geographic Information Science (GIS) from the University of Georgia and her Geographic Information Science Administration, M.S. from the University of West Florida. Wendy is an active member of URISA International and Florida URISA.
