Membership

Membership in Georgia URISA is open to individuals, agencies and corporations involved in the development and maintenance of spatial data, including geographic information systems (GIS). Benefits for individuals and organizations include networking, educational and promotional opportunities within our statewide chapter.

Membership Benefits and Fee Structure

Would you like to become a member? Becoming a member is easy, we offer several types of memberships for your convenience. You can join or renew an existing membership by visiting our online store, or simply identify your membership type and complete the application at the bottom of the page. Individual

Regular individual members shall be those who reside or work in the State of Georgia. Individual membership fee for 2010 is $40.00.  JOIN NOW.

Corporate

Corporate members shall be private sector organizations and may designate up to four (4) employees as Chapter members. Corporate membership fee for 2010 is $225.00 and additional Members are $20 each.  JOIN NOW.

Business

Business members shall be private sector organizations and may designate up to two (2) employees as Chapter members. Business membership fee for 2010 is $150.00. JOIN NOW.

Institutional/Non-profit

Non-profit members shall be public and non-profit organizations and may designate up to four (4) employees as Chapter members. Institutional/Non-profit membership fee for 2010 is $120.00. JOIN NOW.

Student

Student members shall be those individuals in the state of Georgia at the time of application that carry at least one-half of a full-time academic course load in a related discipline at an accredited institution of higher education. Student membership for 2010 is FREE.  JOIN NOW.

Institutional/Non-profit: $120
Individual: $40
Student: Free

Dues allow the chapter to plan and organize a variety of related events to benefit the membership, as well as promote to statewide participants. No refunds are available since we are operating as a non-profit.
