Mid South ASPRS Student Paper Competition

ASPRS Mid-South is inviting all students of photogrammetry and remote sensing to participate in this conference that focuses on the different professional aspects of the mapping community. For over 20 Years the Mid South Region has conducted a student paper and poster competition. The competition provides students the opportunity to present their work in a supportive close knit group of peers. A special session will be set aside for student presentations on October 22nd. Oral presentations will be limited to 20 Minutes with 5 minutes for questions.
Posters will be on display throughout the conference and must be brought in by October 20th for display. Posters must not be larger than 4 feet by 4 feet. Easels and Foam boards will be provided. Students submitting posters will be required to attend the posters during the judging period which will be scheduled for the morning of October 22nd.
Finally, abstracts for paper and poster submittals must be received by September 24, 2010, to be reviewed and considered for this program. The Program committee will organize the program based on this call for presentations. Awards will be given out in three categories: Undergraduate Papers, Graduate Papers, and Poster Presentations.
